ANIME is a custom game with a bustling community based completely within the DoTA 2 game client. It's core game mode is made in a style similar to Overthrow, but with characters from various anime related media as the playable heroes. There are several game modes that allow you to play in solos or teams of varying sizes.

Currently, there are a total of 64 unique playable characters from different anime shows, video games and other media. Heroes are divided into 3 unique core attributes that determine what roles and playstyles fit them the best.

Clown Coins[]

Clown coins are the virtual currency of the custom game. Clown coins can be used to spin the clown wheel via the magnifying glass at the top left hand corner during a game. After you have completed a ANIME match (and the match must be counted), you will gain clown coins depending on the placement you get. For Solo, 1st place gets you 50 coins, 2nd place gets you 25 coins and the rest gets you none, For Duo,1st place gets you 50 coins, 2nd place gets you 25 coins and the rest gets you none, For Trio1st place gets you 50 coins and the rest gets you none, For Quintet, 1st place gets you 50 coins, 2nd and 3rd place gets you none. For Ten, winner gets 50 coins, loser gets none, For Racing,1st place gets you 50 coins, 2nd place gets you 25 coins and the rest gets you none.. However, if you abandon a match (and the match must be counted), you will lose 200 clown coins. If you have less than 200 clown coins, you will lose all your clown coins without it going into the negatives. Depending on your patreon backing, you will receive a 1.5x multiplier (ANIME Hero), 2x multiplier (ANIME Champion), 2.5x multiplier (ANIME Idol) or a 3x multiplier (ANIME Savior) to the amount of clown coins earned after a game.

The Clown Wheel[]

The Clown Wheel is your main purpose for having clown coins and can be accessed by clicking on a magnifying glass at the top left hand corner of your screen during an ANIME match. For 300 clown coins, you get to spin the clown wheel which has a chance of getting you a cosmetic of different rarities, common, uncommon, rare, mythical, legendary, immortal, ancient and arcana, ancient being the rarest and common being the most common. After you have spun and gotten the cosmetic item from the wheel, the cosmetic items can be equipped from the same place you spun the wheel. Cosmetic items are purely cosmetical and will not affect the outcome of a game.
